Since its opening in 1996 as the first public library in Hanam City, Sinjang Library has provided various knowledge and information services for citizens to use comfortably, while operating various reading culture programs and serving as a base for lifelong education.

In particular, through a full-scale remodeling in 2022, it has been reborn as a ‘citizen-centered open space’ where anyone can enjoy reading and resting while looking at the beautiful Deokpungcheon Stream and green forest, and anyone can freely communicate and share knowledge.

The newly refurbished Sinjiang Library will continue to grow together with citizens as a 'library that contains the history of Hanam and fosters the city's culture'.
